Ingredients For new mexican chili

3 lgyellow onions, chopped

3 clovegarlic, chopped
-
2 tsppowdered garlic
-
1fresh, hot chile, chopped

2 tspchipotle powder
-
2 tspcayenne powder
-
2 Tbspcumin
-
1 lbground meat (turkey, chicken, beef, pork, etc.)

2 tspmexican oregano
-
2 tspsea salt
-
2 mdroma tomatoes, chopped

3bay leaves
-
2 pkgdry red beans, soaked

1/2 tspworcestershire sauce
-
1 cantomato sauce
-
1 cantomato paste w/ 1 can water

1 bottleyour favorite beer
-
1/4 colive oil, extra virgin
How To Make new mexican chili

1Soak beans overnight, drain and set aside

2Sautee onions, garlic, ½ of the garlic powder and ½ of the jalapeno (or chipotle or cayenne), salt and pepper in oil until onions are slightly browned.

3Add ground meat and cook until browned.

4Add the tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste and ½ of seasonings and simmer for 20 minutes.

5Add beans and remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 hour 30 minutes.
