kale and bean chili!

This chili/soup si so good and flavorful but not only that it is so good for you. Ok so I wanted to make my lentil chili but I had no lentils lol. I had some kale in the fridge and I said why not. Boy I had no idea how delicious this was going to be. Perfect for a cold day warms up your whole body. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

Ingredients For kale and bean chili!

2 Tbspchili powder

1 Tbspground cummin

1 Tbsppaprika

1/4 tspground cayenne

1 1/2 tsponion powder

1 1/2 tspgarlic powder

1 tspdried oregano
-
2 tsptomato paste
-
1/2 tspsalt (sea salt)

1/4 tspground black pepper

1/2 cfresh cilantro
-
2 bunchfresh kale chopped

3 ccooked beans any kind you like i love northern beans.

3 cchicken stock ( vegetable is fine too)

1 candiced tomatoes (14oz)

1/2white onion diced

How To Make kale and bean chili!

1In a pot add olive oil about 3 tablespoons add onions and softened cook in medium setting. Add spices and let them bloom cook for about 1 minute. Add tomato paste and cook for 1 minute. At this point add stock and canned tomatoes . Stir until everything is combined.

2Add kale and cilantro cook for about 7 minutes add beans after that just until they are warmed through about 4 minutes. taste the kale and cook to the consistency you like. Let the chili/soup cool down a little so you don't burn your mouth. Ladle the soup into a bowl and garnish with any toppings you like and enjoy.
