This recipe was given to me by a co-worker at Texas A&M University about 1978. We make it every year and it is definitely a family favorite in cool weather. Enjoy.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot
Ingredients For mexican chili

3 lbground beef cooked
-
1 conion chopped
-
3 Tbspoil
-
2 can6 oz tomato paste
-
2 cantomatoes, canned and chopped, with liquid

2 canwater
-
2 clovegarlic mashed
-
1 Tbspchili powder (or to taste)

1 tspcumin ground
-
1/2 ozunsweetened chocolate
-
2 canpinto beans
-
salt and pepper to taste
How To Make mexican chili

1Place all ingredients in large Dutch oven and simmer 3 hours. I like to use the crock pot on low for the day.
