This is my mom recipe and it has been handed down to me...this is great for those cold cold nights..It is a great source of vitamin c....You can make it as spicy as you like by the kind of green chili you put in it.....

Ingredients For green chili stew

3 pkggreen chiles (frozen) or (large cans)

2 clovegarlic (minced)

2 mdonion (chopped)

1 1/2 lbmeat (ground sirloin, pork, or chicken)

1 qttomatoes
-
5bouillon cubes (depends on the meat)

2 mdzucchini (sliced with peel) or crookneck
-
2 mdpotatoes (cubed)
-
1 tsporegano, dried
-
salt (to taste)

2 Tbspcooking oil
-
water
How To Make green chili stew

1BOUILLON CUBES ( IF YOU ARE USING PORK THEN USE VEGETABLE BROTH)

2In a Dutch Oven: Cut up pork roast into chunks, brown pork in 2 Tbsp of cooking oil. Add garlic, and onion, sauté with pork, and spices.

3Add tomatoes, potatoes, green chili, zucchini, bouillon, cubes, add water as needed to one inch from the top on Dutch Oven. Salt to taste.....cook on medium for 1 1/2 hour stirring often...serve hot...
