My Mom used to make this for us when we were kids. It's embarassingly easy and so kid friendly. You can use different types of chips like tortilla, but we always had it with Fritos. You could also add different types of cheeses, layer them in between instead of just on top and I'm sure there are alot of other options. This is just how my mom made it, plain and simple.

Ingredients For frito chili pie

1 pkgfrito's corn chips

1 lgcan of chili or leftover homemade

1 1/2 cshredded cheddar cheese (medium or sharp)

dollops of sour cream (optional)

green onions, chopped (optional)
How To Make frito chili pie

1Layer 1/2 of corn chips on bottom of baking pan. (Size of pan will vary depending on how much chili you have left over - either 13x9 or smaller)

2Spoon chili over the chips spreading evenly over all.

3Add the remaining chips over the chili.

4Top with shredded cheese.

5Bake in 350 degree oven for about 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and slightly bubbly.
