Chili has always been a comfort food in my family. This is my daughter's version. It is always served with corn bread muffins!

Ingredients For erica's chili

1 lblean ground beef

1 cchopped onion (1 medium onion)

1 canblack beans or chili beans

1 cancorn (kernels, or creamed)

1 cantomato sauce (8 oz)

2chipotle peppers from a can of chipotle in adobe (freeze the leftovers)

1 Tbspground chili peppers, medium heat (or use commercial chili powder)

1 tspgarlic powder or granules

salt, to taste

shredded cheese, sour cream, avocado, cilantro - add as desired to serve
How To Make erica's chili

1In a chili pot, brown ground beef and onions until meat is no longer pink.

2Add beans, corn, chipotle peppers, tomato sauce and seasonings.

3Simmer together for about 1/2 hour. Add some water if it seems too thick. Taste for salt and adjust, if necessary.

4Set out toppings and people can add what they like.
