Ingredients For chili relleno casserole

  • 3 can
    7 oz whole green chilis
  • 1 lb
    jack cheese grated
  • 1 lb
    medium cheddar cheese, grated
  • 3
    eggs, beaten
  • 3 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 small can
    evaporated milk
  • 1 large can
    tomato sauce

How To Make chili relleno casserole

  • 1
    Seed, wash and drain chilis. In a 9x13 pan layer half the chilis and half the 2 cheeses. save 1/2 cup cheese for the topping and repeat the layers.

    blend eggs, flour and milk and pour over the chilis and cheese. Bake 350* for 30 minutes , spread tomato sauce evenly over top. Sprinkle remaining cheese, Bake 15 more minutes
