This started out as a soup made out as an experiment. However, everyone loved it and requested the recipe. Our family of 8 requires the recipe to be doubled.

Ingredients For chicken chili soup

3 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin

2 cwater
-
1 conion, chopped

1 cangreat northern beans

1 ccarrot, sliced

2 ccooked chicken, finely chopped

2 clovegarlic, crushed
-
1/4 csalsa
-
2 tspcumin
-
sour cream, optional
-
2 cchicken broth
-
tortilla chips
How To Make chicken chili soup

1Fry onion, carrots and garlic in large pot until onion is tender. Add cumin and flour. Stir and cook for 2 minutes. Add broth, water, beans and salsa. Bring to boiling. Add chicken. Reduce to simmer, cover and cook until carrots are tender. Top with chips and sour cream.
