Well this Soup Exchange was a hit and it was agreed that we will have it again. Although I think the ladies wanted me to host another one real soon. They loved the tasting of soups and it made them look forward to going home and having soup for the next week or two. Plus then we knew which one we wanted to open first. After the tasting we voted on the most favorite soup and I gave a Taste of Home Soup Cookbook to the winner. We also just sat around and chatted with one another for an hour or so...it was lovely time with friends and family. I look forward to the next one.

I served a side dish called https://www.justapinch.com/recipes/side/vegetable/brown-rice-and-veggie-slice.html?p=1 that I found here on Just a Pinch and it is delish. It is now one of my favorite sides dishes and the ladies loved it too.

A friend of mine offered to bring a RedRum cake and that is what we had for dessert. It was delish and served up with whipped topping and some hot coffee.

I gave each lady a Panera bread bowl to take with their quart of soup. I thought that would be a nice treat. I got one for myself and filled it with Loaded Baked Potato Chowder. Photo is below.

The winner of the best tasting soup was the Chicken Fiesta Soup my friend Jenny made. It sure had a wonderful spicy flavor!
