1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

3/4 c milk or half & half
How To Make the very best dumplings for soup

1Place all dry ingredients in a medium bowl and mix with a fork.

2Add milk (or half & half) and mix until just combined. Mixing too much could make them tough.

3Drop by half teaspoonfuls into gently simmering soup. Give a gentle stir to keep them from sticking. Once they are all in, continue to gently simmer for 5-10 minutes. Serve.
