Ingredients For south western chicken tortilla soup

  • box or can
    large can or box of chicken broth
  • 2 can
    black beans, rinsed
  • 2 can
    diced tomatoes with chilis
  • 1 bag
    sweet white frozen corn
  • 2or3 clove
    garlic
  • 1/2 c
    lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1 lg
    cooked and diced chicken(can buy already cooked from deli
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1 bunch
    cilantro, fresh and chopped

How To Make south western chicken tortilla soup

  • 1
    Can be cooked in a crock pot or on the stove top. Put all ingredients in a crockpot or large kettle except the sour cream and Cilantro.

    As soon as soup getsvery hot add sour cream and stir in till well mixed.

    A few minutes before serving add schopped Cilantro to the pot. Serve with Tortilla chips, cheese, and onions if desired.
