This is really good on a cold day . Got this recipe from my sister ,but added my own spices to it. It doesn't last long at our house! The cayenne gives it a little bit of a kick . In our family, we love spicy foods. Enjoy!

Ingredients For homemade chicken noodle soup

1whole chicken

4-5 stalkscelery

1 pkgbaby carrots

1 lgonion

1-2 Tbspminced garlic

1 tspsalt

1 tspcayenne pepper

1 tspblack pepper

1-2 Tbspparsley

3 qtwater
-
1 pkgegg noodles, uncooked

4chicken bouillion cubes or 1-2 cans chicken broth
How To Make homemade chicken noodle soup

1Place a whole chicken in enough water to cover. Cut onion up & add to chicken. Bring to a boil & cook on high for approximately one hour or until chicken falls off the bone. Let cool.

2Strain broth & remove bones & skin from chicken after cooling. Cut chicken into bite sized pieces. Place chicken back in broth & add remaining ingredients except noodles.Cook for about one hour more.

3The last 10 minutes of cooking time , add noodles. Cook 10-15 more minutes. Serve with fresh rolls or crackers.
