i had some leftover b'bqued chicken thighs in freezer but was gettin cold out and i wanted soup..... i tried this and we loved it...

Ingredients For grilled b'bqued chicken soup

  • 4 lg
    frozen leftover b'bqued chicken thighs
  • 1 sm
    onion ,chopped
  • 1 lg
    celery rib,chopped fine
  • 1/2 md
    green bell pepper,chopped
  • 1/2 pkg
    [5 oz] baby spinach leaves
  • 8 oz
    fresh mushrooms,sliced
  • 1 lg
    baking potato,cubed
  • 1 bottle
    smokey flavored b'bque sauce
  • 1 bottle
    [b'bque sauce] full or warm water

How To Make grilled b'bqued chicken soup

    nuke chicken long enough to skin and debone it set meat aside take bones and skin and put in soup pot add b'bque sauce and the water bring to boil low temp to simmer cook bout 20 min

    while makin stock chop all veggies once stock cooked remove bones and skin add all veggies cook til tender bout 20 min more once veggies cooked add chicken meat keep cookin til meat hot add salt and pepper if u need to[i didn't] now enjoy
