This is a greek soup. I got it from a lady I used to date many years ago.

Ingredients For egg lemon soup

  • 1 qt
    chicken broth
  • c
    cooked rice
  • c
    cooked pieces of chicken cut small
  • 1/2 c
    chopped celery
  • 1/2 c
    chopped carrots
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onions
  • chicken base to taste
  • 3
    eggs whipped and temper it in.
  • lemon juice to taste

How To Make egg lemon soup

  • 1
    Add all except lemon juice & eggs to a stock pot. Simmer until veggies are cooked. Add the lemon juice to your taste .1 like it tangy. Then add the eggs stirring as you add it. It will look a little creamy Add more lemon juice if you like. This is one different & good soup. ENJOY
