Ingredients For crockpot chicken noodle soup

3.5 lbchicken, broiler-fryer, skinned and cut up

2 qtwater
-
1bay leaf
-
1/4 tsppepper
-
1/4 tsppoultry seasoning

1/2 tspbasil, dried and crushed

3/4 tspmarjoram, dried

2 tspparsley, dried flakes

2.5 tspsalt
-
2celery stalks, chopped
-
1/2 conion, chopped
-
2carrots, peeled and chopped

2.5 cegg noodles, uncooked
How To Make crockpot chicken noodle soup

1Place first 4 ingredients in 3 1/2 quart slow cooker in order listed.

2Combine salt and next 6 ingredients; sprinkle over vegetables.

3Add 6 cups water; cover and cook on low setting 8 to 10 hours.

4Remove chicken and bay leaf; add remaining 2 cups water.

5Stir in noodles and cook, covered, on high setting 20 minutes.

6Meanwhile remove bones from chicken and cut chicken into bite-size pieces.

7Add to slow cooker, stir to mix.

8Cook 15 minutes on high setting, covered or until noodles are tender.
