This is SO easy and so delicious. My boys aren't big soup eaters but this is so filling they actually request it. I've even made double batches to satisfy this hungry group!

Ingredients For creamy chicken & wild rice soup

9 ozfully cooked chicken strips (precooked tyson grilled is what i use)

6.2 ozuncle ben's long grain & wild rice fast recipe

1 1/2 cchicken broth
-
1/2 cdiced carrot
-
1/2 cdiced celery
-
1/2 cdiced onion
-
1 tspminced garlic
-
3 cmilk
-
1 Tbspflour
-
1 1/2 Tbspcold water
How To Make creamy chicken & wild rice soup

1Cut the precooked chicken into 1/2 to 1 inch pieces. Set aside.

2Prepare rice according to package directions. Be sure to include seasoning packet.

3Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, bring chicken broth to a boil. Add carrots, celery, onion and garlic. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes or until vegetables are tender-crisp.

4Add chicken to saucepan and simmer until chicken is heated through. Add prepared rice to chicken mixture; stir in milk and return to low simmer.

5In a small bowl, mix flour and cold water until smooth. Gradually stir into soup. Simmer 2-5 minutes or until soup thickens. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
