Ingredients For cream cheese chicken soup

  • 1 md
    onion chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1/2 c
    white wine
  • 2 lg
    carrots diced
  • 2 lg
    russet potatoes cubed
  • 4 c
    chicken stock
  • 2 c
    cooked chicken cubed
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 1/2 c
    heavy cream
  • 1/3 c
    flour
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • fresh parsley for serving

How To Make cream cheese chicken soup

  • 1
    Add butter to a large pot. Saute the onions until translucent. Add the garlic and saute 1 minutes. Deglaze the pan with the white wine. Let most evaporate.

    Add the chicken stock and bring to a boil. Add the carrot and potatoes and cook until the potatoes are soft. Add the chicken.

    Mix the flour with the heavy cream. Stir into the soup. Add the cream cheese cubed and cook until cheese is all melted. Taste and season with salt and pepper

    Serve garnished with parsley.
