We boiled 3 bone-in skin-on chicken breasts for the soup. The broth will boil away while cooking the chicken and the egg noodles will absorb it too. So, keep an eye on the soup as it cooks. You'll have to add a little more broth or water as it simmers.

1In a Dutch oven cook chicken until tender.

2Remove chicken from Dutch oven. Let cool and remove meat from bones.

3Add vegetables, herbs, seasonings, and noodles to broth and cook until tender.

4When vegetables and noodles are tender, add shredded chicken. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
