This is a very simple soup that is very good. I make it with the spinach, but you can leave that out if you want too.

Ingredients For chicken bow tie noodle soup

  • 1/2 lb
    bow tie pasta, cooked
  • 1/4 lb
    fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 2
    celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 bunch
    green onions chopped (or less if you prefer)
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter or margarine
  • 2
    chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces
  • 6 c
    chicken broth
  • salt and pepper to your liking
  • 1 c
    fresh spinach, chopped (optional)

How To Make chicken bow tie noodle soup

  • 1
    Saute mushrooms, celery, and green onions in large saucepan in butter for 5 minutes.

    Add chicken pieces to pan and brown lightly. Add broth and simmer for 45 minutes.

    Add cooked pasta and spinach and heat till warmed through and spinach is wilted
