SO YUMMY! My family requests this on a regular basis. And I will tell you, the brand called "Al Fresco" makes the best natural chicken apple sausage, even made with real Vermont maple syrup!

Ingredients For chicken-apple sausage, kale, and white bean soup

  • 1 pkg
    chicken-apple sausage
  • 1/2 bunch
    fresh kale, chopped
  • 2 can
    cannellini beans
  • 2 clove
    garlic
  • 1
    bay leaf
  • 32 oz
    chicken broth, low salt

How To Make chicken-apple sausage, kale, and white bean soup

    Saute sliced sausage in 1 tablespoon Canola oil until brown in large soup pot or dutch oven.

    Drain and rinse beans then add to sausage along with chopped garlic. Saute for 2 minutes until beans are heated through.

    Add bay leaf and chopped kale to pot along with the chicken broth.

    Bring to a boil and let simmer for 15 minutes.

    Top with shredded/shaved parmesan cheese and enjoy!
