Ingredients For brunswick stew

2(4 lb.) stewing chickens

1 lbsalt pork, sliced thin or chopped

8 cfreshly cut corn

10 csliced peeled tomatoes

4 cdiced peeled potatoes

8 cbutter beans (lima beans)

2medium onions, chopped

1/4 tspground red pepper

salt and pepper to taste
How To Make brunswick stew

1Cut up chicken. Cover with water in heavy kettle; cook until meat fall off the bone, adding water if necessary.

2Add salt pork. Add vegetables and seasoning.

3Simmer slowly until tender and mixture is thick and well blended.

4Serve hot.
