Ingredients For blackened chicken tortilla soup

  • 1 lb
    boneless, skinless chicken breast, cooked & shredded
  • 1 can
    whole kernel corn, drained
  • 2 can
    chicken broth
  • 1 can
    black beans, rinsed & drained
  • 1 can
    petite diced tomatoes
  • favorite tortilla chips, crunched up
  • 1 c
    shredded, cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp
    jerk seasoning

How To Make blackened chicken tortilla soup

    In large saucepan over medium heat, combine corn, chicken broth, black beans, jerk seasoning & tomatoes.

    Next take the cooked, shredded chicken and mix it in with the other ingredients. Mixing together well. Bring to a boil & turn heat to low and simmer for about 30~45 minutes.

    Next put soup out into soup bowls, sprinkle with shredded cheese, & crunch up some of the tortilla chips into the soup and enjoy.
