  • 8 oz
    shaved rib eye steak
  • 1 Tbsp
    each grated ginger and minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp
    sesame oil
  • FOR THE SOUP
  • 7 oz
    dried rice noodles cooked acccording to package directions drained
  • 1 c
    bean sprouts
  • 4
    green onions chopped
  • fresh cilantro, mint, and basil

How To Make vietnamese beef noodle soup

    For the broth Mix all ingredients in a pot. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer and simmer 30 minutes. Strain the broth into a clean pan and dischard the solids.

    Mix the shaved rib eye with the marinade ingredients and set aside.

    Place the noodles in 4 bowls. Top with the raw rib eye, bean sprouts and green onions. Ladle the hot broth over the meat (this will cook the meat perfectly).

    Top with the herbs. Serve with lime wedges and hoisin sauce if desired.
