I call this cabbage soup because it does make its on juices and comes out so wonderful! This is the best with a pan of cornbread!

2 lgtomatoes, sliced

2-3 lgpotatoes, sliced as tomatoes

1 pkgsliced cheese
-
fried bacon
-
chopped onions
-
chopped bell peppers
-
1 lgcabbage head

1 lbground meat (cooked)
How To Make very different cabbage soup!

1In a large stainless steel pot...(put 3-4 tbs. butter in bottom of pan) layer cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes, sliced cheese,browned hamburger meat, onions and bell peppers, and cooked bacon(crumbled)IN THAT ORDER! I use Tony Chachere's seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper after each layer!

2Continue layers and place on stove top on low heat...pour in 4-5 cups of water and place lid on pot. Cook on low heat for an hour to an hour and a half (or until desired consistency) ENJOY!
