I'm originally from Massachusetts. The Venus DeMilo, in Swansea, Massachusetts, is a very popular place for weddings and banquets. Story has it that early one morning when the head chef was preparing for a wedding meal, he discovered that he'd forgotten to purchase ingredients for the soup. He threw this together, and it was a big hit! Hence the name. Please don't let the canned ingredients turn you away. Its VERY good!

Ingredients For venus demilo soup

1 lbground beef

1 candiced tomatoes

1 canveg-all (mixed veggies)

1 cancorn, cream-style

1 canred kidney beans (optional)

3/4-1 corzo pasta, cooked

1 pkglipton onion soup mix

2 canwater
How To Make venus demilo soup

1Boil pasta just until al dente. Drain, set aside.

2In Dutch Oven, brown ground beef until no longer pink. Drain off grease.

3Sprinkle onion soup mix over meat. Stir to combine.

4Add remaining ingredients and let simmer 15-20 minutes. Season to taste.
