Ingredients For vegetable-beef soup

3 lbbeef with bone

3 qtwater

2 Tbspsalt

2 tspworcestershire sauce

1/4 tsppepper

1 mdonion, chopped

1 csliced carrots

1 cdiced potatoes

1 cchopped cabbage

1turnip, peeled and cubed

1 cantomatoes

2 tspparsley flakes

1 cfrozen peas

1 cfrozen green beans

1 cfrozen corn
How To Make vegetable-beef soup

1Combine beef, water, salt, Worcestershire sauce and pepper in large kettle. Cover and simmer until meat is tender, 2½ to 3 hours. Remove meat from soup; cut from bone in small pieces and return meat to soup.

2Add remaining ingredients. Simmer until vegetables are tender, about 45 minutes.

3If desired you can add 1/3 cup rice.
