Ingredients For vegetable beef soup

  • 2
    soup bones with marrow
  • 2 lb
    beef stew meat
  • 1 can
    crushed tomatoes
  • 1 lg
    onion
  • 1 lg
    mixed vegetables, frozen
  • 1 pkg
    small package of frozen succotash
  • 1 c
    elbow macaroni
  • 1-2
    bay leaves

How To Make vegetable beef soup

  • 1
    Put water in dutch oven to cover soup bones. Bring soup bones to a boil, then add stew meat. Cook about 1 hour then add sliced onion, bay leaf and crushed tomatoes. When tomatoes are cooked and onion is soft, add mixed vegetables and succotash. Cook approximately 20 minutes and add 1 cup of uncooked elbow macaroni. Don't worry, the macaroni will swell.
