This is a great hearty and fun flavored soup. I love it with sour cream, cheese and Fritos scoops on top, but you can add whatever you want to make the bowl of soup your own! I plan to make this in camp, and to the basic soup, have a garnish bar. Even olives can play a part...the possibilities are endless!

Ingredients For taco soup

  • 2 lb
    ground chuck
  • 1 lg
    onion, chopped
  • 1 can
    kidney beans
  • 4 can
    petite diced tomatoes
  • 1 can
    yellow corn, drained
  • 1 can
    pinto beans
  • 1 can
    black beans
  • 1 sm
    can green chilies
  • 1
    envelope taco seasoning mix
  • 1
    envelope hidden valley ranch dressing mix

How To Make taco soup

  • 1
    Brown chuck and onion, drain grease. Add remaining, remembering to only drain the corn. Cook 1 hour. Serve with any or all: sour cream shredded cheese chopped green onion Tortilla chips, strips, or Fritos (we used Fritos scoops)
