Ingredients For simple beef stew

1-2 lbstew beef cubes
-
1/2 call purpose flour
-
1/4 ccanola oil
-
3-4carrots, scraped and sliced
-
6 mdpotatoes, peeled and cubed

2 mdonions, quartered
-
1-2 clovegarlic, minced
-
2 box(32 oz.) beef broth
-
2-3 tspsalt
-
1/4 tsppepper
-
1 Tbspkitchen bouquet browning & seasoning sauce

1/4 cfresh, chopped parsley
How To Make simple beef stew

1In a zip lock bag, add flour. Add in stew beef to coat.

2Heat oil in the bottom of a large dutch oven.

3Add flour and coated beef and cook until browned.

4When beef is browned, pour in broth. Add carrots and onions, salt and pepper. Simmer uncovered for 1 hour.

5Add potatoes and cook for another 20-30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

6HINT: Add more flour and water in a slurry to further thicken, if needed

7Add in Tbsp. browning & seasoning sauce. Stir until incorporated.

8When stew is just right, add 1/4 cup fresh parsley. Serve with a nice salad and biscuits or bread and butter!
