Ingredients For provencal beef stew

1.25 lbbeef stew meat

2 smonions, cut into eighths

8new red potatoes, quartered

1 lbbaby carrots

1/4 tsppepper

1/2 tspsalt

1 tspdried thyme

1 cantomatoes, peeled, diced, 14 1/2 ounces with juice

18 ozbrown gravy
-
4 slicebacon, cut into 1 inch pieces

8 ozfresh whole mushrooms
How To Make provencal beef stew

1In medium skillet over med-high heat, cook beef and bacon until beef is browned; drain.

2In 3-1/2 to 4 quart crockpot combine gravy, tomatoes, thyme, salt and pepper.

3Add beef, bacon and remaining ingredients; stir gently to combine.

4Cover; cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or until meat and veggies are tender.
