This is my grandmothers reciepe that has been enhanced. My mother and worked to improve. Kinda hard to improve on grandmas, but we played. Hope you enjoy.

Ingredients For mulligan stew

2 lbground round
-
3 qtwater, beef broth or mixture

4 slicecelery stalks sliced

5 slicecarrots, chopped

1 bunchleek, sliced, and cleaned

3 lgturnips
-
5turnips, cleaned and sliced

1/2 to 1head of cabbage
-
1 canstewed tomatoes, any style

2 cketsup, or to flavor
-
1 jarsmall jar v-8 juice
How To Make mulligan stew

1In large soup pot brown beef in skillet with onions and garlic (optional) until no longer pink. Add all veggies, tomatoes, juice, and ketsup except cabbage. Simmer until veggies are tender, about 30 min. Add cabbage for 10 min.

2Serve with Dark Rye bread and butter. Enjoy!!!
