Ingredients For ground beef soup

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter or margarine
  • 4 c
    water
  • 1 lb
    canned tomatoes
  • 1/2
    bay leaf
  • 1 c
    choped onion
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground pepper
  • 1
    10 oz. pkg mixed vegetables
  • 1 Tbsp
    salt
  • 2
    beef bouillon
  • 2
    celery stalks
  • 1 c
    egg noodles
  • 1/2 tsp
    thyme, dried

How To Make ground beef soup

    In large saucepan, saute beef and onions until meat is well browned.

    Add water, tomatoes, celery (chopped), salt, bouillon, and bay leaf. Add worcestershire sauce and pepper. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove bay leaf!

    Add mixed vegetables, noodles, and thyme. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
