Ingredients For easy taco soup

  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 lg
    onion (chopped)
  • 1 can
    pinto beans (rinsed)
  • 1 can
    black beans (rinsed)
  • 1 can
    whole kernal corned (drained)
  • 1 can
    stewed tomatoes, mexican
  • 1 can
    rotel tomatoes
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning
  • 1 pkg
    original hidden valley ranch dressing (dry)
  • 2 1/2 c
    water (or more to make broth)

How To Make easy taco soup

  • 1
    Brown ground beef and onions in a large pan, drain off fat.
  • 2
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer for an hour or so.

    When ready, serve in big soup bowls. Some like it with a skillet of hot cornbread, but my family likes it topped with tortilla chips, shredded cheese and sour cream!
