Ingredients For easy taco soup

  • 1 lb
    90 % lean ground beef
  • 1 c
    chopped onions
  • 1 pkg
    {1.25}oz. taco seasoning mix
  • 3 c
    water, hot
  • 1 can
    14.5 ounce size diced tomatoes with green chilis
  • 1 can
    15 ounce size,drained and rinsed black beans
  • 1 can
    15 ouncesize of whole kernal corn
  • 1 can
    4 ounce size,diced green chiles{i use mild}
  • 1 c
    small pasta shells

How To Make easy taco soup

    In a large dutch oven cook and crumble beef and the onions,until no longer pink,DRAIN.

    Add remaining ingrediants to pan;bring to a boil;reduce heat and then simmer until the pasta is cooked,about 10 minutes.Simmer a few more minutes for best flavor.

    Remove from heat. Ladle soup into serving bowls. Top with shredded chedder or monteray Jack cheese,crushed tortilla chips,sliced green onions and sour cream,if desired.VERY GOOD.
