Ingredients For easy beef barley soup

1 1/2 lbstew beef or round steak-cut in very small cubes

olive oil
-
7 cwater
-
5beef bullion cubes
-
1 lgonion- diced
-
1/2 cchopped parsley
-
2 ccabbage-cut in small pieces
-
1 candiced tomatoes
-
4 canmixed vegetables-drained
-
1 can12 oz. v-8 juice
-
1 cancut green beans
-
1 1/2 cquick cook barley
-
fresh ground black pepper
How To Make easy beef barley soup

1brown beef in oil,add water and bullion bring to a boil over high heat

2add,onion,parsley and cabbage,and tomatoes cook until cabbage is crisp tender approx.15 to 20 min.

3Add V-8 and bring back to boil then add the vegetables and barley and cook according to barley directions. Add pepper and then salt to taste.

4Soup needs to rest at least an hour for a better flavor-Enjoy!
