Ingredients For cornmeal dumplings

1/3 cflour

1/4 cyellow cornmeal

1 tspbaking powder

dashof salt
-
dashof pepper

1egg white, beaten

2 Tbspmilk

1 Tbspoil
How To Make cornmeal dumplings

1Make dumplings by mixing together flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Combine egg white, milk and oil. Add to flour mixture. Stir with fork until just combined.

2When whatever soup you have made is about 1/2 hr. from being done, put heat on high (in slow cooker) Drop dumpling mixture by rounded teaspoonfuls to make 8 mounds atop the soup.

3Cover. Cook for 30 minutes (do not lift lid)
