Ingredients For cheeseburger soup

250 gbacon

50 mlolive oil

1 kgonions diced

3 clovegarlic minced

2 kgextra-lean ground beef

2-3chipotle pepper in adobo chopped

3 gdried whole marjoram
-
5 gdried whole rosemary
-
3 gdried whole thyme
-
2bay leaves dried
-
250 mlred wine, dry burgundy

1 lwhole tomatoes
-
4 lbeef broth
-
300 gchopped dill pickles
-
1 kgbaby spinach
-
salt and pepper to taste
-
worchestershire sauce to taste
-
12 slicehearty bread
-
dijon mustard
-
500 ggrated sharp cheese mix (ues cheddar emmenthal, asiago, parmesan , romano or any mix you want.
How To Make cheeseburger soup

1Saute Bacon onions and garlic in olive oil

2Add Ground beef and continue cooking until beef is fully cooked. Drain excess fat

3Add Chipotles, herbs, tomatoes, and liquids and simmer for 1 hour.

4Just before it is finished add chopped dill pickles and baby spinach. Salt, Pepper and Worchestershire sauce to taste.

5To serve, spread Dijon onto bread slice and float bread on soup. Top with cheese and grill under broiler until cheese is melted (Much like french onion soup)
