I got a version of this recipe at least 25 years ago and have tweaked it for personal preference. You would never know most of the ingredients come from cans.

Ingredients For can-can soup

2 lbground beef (i prefer ground round)

2 cancondensed chicken gumbo soup
-
2 cancondensed minestrone soup
-
1 cantomato-basil soup (not condensed), such as progresso

2 canro-tel tomatoes
-
1onion, chopped
-
1bell pepper, chopped
-
2 clovegarlic, minced
-
1 Tbspdried basil (optional)

2 Tbspdried parsley (optional)

salt & pepper to taste
How To Make can-can soup

1In a 5-quart Ducth oven, brown ground beef with onions, peppers & garlic; drain off fat.

2Add remaining ingredients and simmer 1-1/2 to 2 hrs., or even longer.

3Option: Brown beef, onions, peppers & garlic & put in a 6-quart slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients and cook on low 7-8 hours or on high 4-5 hours.
