My friend Tammy let me try this at work one day. It was low-cal, inexpensive, and easy to make. Loved it! Since she got the recipe from another co-worker of ours, and I changed a few things, I'm not giving the credit to anyone, but sharing it w everyone!!!

Ingredients For cabbage soup

4-5 mdpotatoes

1head cabbage
-
1 smonion, chopped

1 canchicken broth
-
6mushrooms, sliced

2carrots, grated
-
2garlic cloves, minced

1/4 tspbasil
-
salt and pepper
-
1/4 tspred pepper flakes

1 pkgpre cooked turkey sausage

just enough water to cover ingred., or use chicken broth
How To Make cabbage soup

1Peel potatoes, wash and chop. Core cabbage, chop. add potatoes and cabbage to pot first, then add rest of ingredients...cover w lid, simmer til ingred are tender, about 20 minutes.

2This is an easy to add whatever u like. Easy subs are mushrooms, celery, red potatoes, green onions, diff sausage, etc.
