Ingredients For beef stew

  • 3 lb
    sirloin tips
  • 1 can
    (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can
    (10 1/2 oz) condensed beef broth, undiluted
  • 1 c
    mild picante sauce or salsa
  • 1 can
    can whole corn
  • 1 md
    onion, cut in quarters then sliced
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 md
    green squash
  • 1 c
    fresh kale, chopped

How To Make beef stew

  • 1
    Cook sirloin in large skillet, until no longer pink
  • 2
    Combine meat, tomatoes, beef broth, picante sauce or salsa, corn, onion, cumin and salt. To crock pot
  • 3
    Cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until meat is tender.

    Stir together flour and water. Stir flour mixture into stew mixture and cook on HIGH setting 1 hour or until thickened.
