Ingredients For white bean soup

2 can15 1/2 oz white beans, rinsed and drained (keep separate)

2carrots, diced
-
1 smonion, chopped
-
2 Tbspbutter
-
2 1/4 cwater
-
1 1/2 cham, cubed(i use left over)

1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tspblack pepper
-
1bay leaf (optional)
How To Make white bean soup

1Mash one can of beans, set aside; in a large sauce pan saute the carrots & onions in butter. Stir in the water, ham, seasonings, whole and mashed beans. Cook over medium heat until heated. Discard bay leaf, if used.
