Ingredients For spicey black bean,talopia soup

  • 4-6 md
    talapia, filets
  • 1 pinch
    cumin
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • 1 pinch
    canyene pepper
  • 1/4 stick
    margarine
  • 1/2 c
    celery,chopped with leaves
  • 1 sm
    white onion,chopped fine
  • 1 md
    carrot.grated
  • 1/2 md
    red pepper,chopped
  • 1 can
    creamed corn
  • 2 can
    black beans with jalopia
  • 1/2 can
    cola
  • sprig
    several calantro
  • 1 pt
    heavy cream
  • 1/2 pkg
    [5 oz] fresh baby spinach leaves

How To Make spicey black bean,talopia soup

  • 1
    first cut fish into med to lg bit size pieces put them in zip bag add to it cumin,cayene pepper,red pepper flakes salt and pepper seal gently massage to coat all fish put in fridge[this can be done night before but at least 2 hrs]

    in lg soup pan melt margarine once melted add onion,red pepper,celery,carrot, cook and stir til tender add cola,black beans,corn stir well add fish[and all spices in baguse pinch of water to get it out] and spinach cook til spinach wilts

    add cream and calantro cook jus til hot serve... this is good with garlic bread
