Ingredients For sausage bean soup

1 lbpkg. Kielbasa sausage

1 mdonion, chopped
-
15 ozcan Italian stewed tomatoes
-
15 ozcan Cajun or Mexican stewed tomatoes

Basil, oregano, garlic salt and bay leaves, to taste

15 ozcan kidney beans
-
15 ozcan whole kernel corn
-
Shredded Parmesan cheese, if desired
How To Make sausage bean soup

1Cut Kielbasa into thin slices.

2In soup pan or dutch oven, saute sausage and onions; add tomatoes, with juices, and seasonings. Simmer approximately 20 minutes.

3Just before serving, add beans and corn, with juices. Heat through.

4Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired and crusty French bread.
