1IN A LARGE POT HEAT 2 TBLSPNS OF OLIVE OIL N ADD CHOPPD BACON N COOK FOR 3 MINUTES STIRRING OCCASIONALLY. THEN ADD CHOPPD ONION N GARLIC N COOK FOR 3 MORE MINUTES.

2ADD 2 TBLSPNS OF TOMATO PASTE. STIR N LET COOK ON LOW FOR 3 MINUTES.

3ADD 2 QUARTS OF CHICKEN BROTH N 2 CANS OF STRAIND BEANS, ROSEMARY N THYME SPRIGS N THE BAY LEAF...I ALSO ADDED 1/4 TSP OF CRUSHD RED PEPPER (OPTIONAL) BRING TO A BOIL THEN REDUCE TO SIMMER N COOK FOR 10 MINUTES

4REMOVE SPRIGS OF ROSEMARY N THYME DONT FORGET THE BAY LEAF...N ADD PASTA, STIR N COOK FOR 7-8 MINUTES OR UNTIL PASTA IS ALDENTE.
