Ingredients For neck bone bean soup-kl

1 pkgpork neck bones
-
1 lbdried beans ( i use 15 bean mix)

8 qtwater
-
1 Tbspthyme
-
1 Tbsporegano
-
1 tspsage
-
1 bunchgreens (kale, swiss chard or what ever you have)

3celery stalks plus center leaf sections
-
2leeks
-
2carrots
-
3 clovegarlic
-
3vegetable bouillon cubes
-
salt and pepper to taste

1 candiced tomatoes
How To Make neck bone bean soup-kl

1Presoak beans according to which method you prefer on the package.

2Drain and rinse beans.

3Slice greens, celery, carrots and leeks. Chop the garlic.

4Place beans back into the pot with all remaining ingredients.

5Cook covered on medium heat until beans are soft, stirring occasionaly. 2 to 3 hour depending on beans used.
