martys black bean soup/dip

I tried this several yrs ago and my kids and husband LOVE it! Its a big hit with us and is also so easy to make and throw together;) I serve this with the Tostitos Black Bean Chips and have guacamole, tomatoes, sour cream, shredded cheese, olives, onions to serve along with it to pile it up with:)

Ingredients For martys black bean soup/dip

  • 2 lb
    dry black beans
  • 1 lb
    dry pinto beans
  • 1 Tbsp
    cumin
  • 3 Tbsp
    kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 6 Tbsp
    minced dried onion flakes

How To Make martys black bean soup/dip

    Throw all the ingredients into the crock pot.

    Fill the crock pot up with water till you reach about an inch from the top and then mix well.

    Cook on low for about 8 hrs and then enjoy!:)
