Ingredients For goldwater beans

  • 3 c
    pinto beans, dried
  • 2 lg
    onions, chopped
  • 4 clove
    garlic, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    cummin
  • 2 can
    roasted green chilies
  • 1 lg
    can tomatoe
  • 2 md
    cans tomatoe sauce
  • 1 c
    taco sauce
  • 2 lb
    ground meat
  • 2 tsp
    chili powder

How To Make goldwater beans

  • 1
    Soak beans in cold water overnight, drain, wash and cover with 2 inches of water, add salt and cook on moderate heat slow boil for one hour.

    Now add onions,garlic chopped green chilies, taco sauce, tomatoes and spices. Cook over low heat for one or two hours or until beans are tender. Meat should be browned before added to beans. ENJOY
