I made this for our family party. All of my brothers-in-law are great cook. I wanted to impress them! Guys love meat and my brothers-in-law and husband do, too. Double meat and beans with smoked cheese but not chili since I am not good at making IMPRESSIVE chili. My smoky meaty flavor packed sausage and beans impressed my men! Just delicious!

Ingredients For double sausage and beans

14 ozpolska kielbasa
-
1 lbitalian sausage, mild, casing removed

2 cantomato sauce, 28 oz. each

1large yellow onion, peeled

4cloves garlic, peeled
-
2 canred beans, 15 oz. each, rinsed and drained

1/2 ccooked green peas
-
1 Tbspolive oil
-
1/2 cred wine
-
1/2 tspthyme, dried
-
salt and pepper to taste
-
shredded smoked mozzarella cheese for topping
How To Make double sausage and beans

1Mince garlic and onion. Chop polska kiebasa.

2In a large pot, heat olive oil and cook garlic and onion over medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Add Italian sausages and cook breaking the sausage until brown. Add polska kielbasa and cook until polska kielbasa brown lightly. Add grean peas and red beans. Cook for about 1 minute.

3Stir in red wine and tomato sauce. Bring to a simmer. Add thyme and cook over medium-low heat for about 20 minutes stirring occasionally.

4Add salt and black pepper to taste. Keep simmering for another 10 minutes.

5To serve, put the shredded smoked mozzarella cheese over the top of sausage and beans.
