Ok now this recipe is a little different. The prep time depends on whether or not you begin soaking your beans in the morning or over night.

Ingredients For 10 bean & ham soup

1/3 cpinto beans

1/3 cgreat northern beans

1/3 cred beans

1/8 ckidney beans

1/8 cwhite beans

2 Tbspsalt

1 lgonion chopped

1 tspchili powder

1/2 cred wine {optional}

1/4 cgarbanzo beans

1/3 cblackeye peas

1/3 cblack beans

1/3 clentils
-
2ham hock, smoked

1 canhunts fire roasted tomatoes

1 clovegarlic chopped
How To Make 10 bean & ham soup

1Cover the beans with water to an inch past the beans & 2 tbsp of salt. Let them soak

2After soaking, drain then add 2 qts of water & ham hocks, simmer 3 hours

3Add onion, chili powder, tomatoes, garlic & red wine, simmer another hour
