Is it spicy, tangy, or smoky-sweet? All of the above, in this nut mix that features orange, Chipotle, brown sugar, and cranberries! This mix is very versatile; you may adjust the ingredients and measurements to suit your taste. You may also use any kind of nuts you have on hand. Last time I mixed almonds with cashews. Tonight I had pecans on hand. These make convenient appy's or just keep around as snacks. Also great packed into little jars for gifts!

Ingredients For i'm a little nutty and spicy (chipotle nut mix)

1 Tbsporange rind, grated

1 Tbspfresh orange juice

1 lgegg white
-
2 cnuts, unsalted, cooks choice

1 Tbspdark brown sugar

`1 tspsea salt
-
1/2 tspground chipotle chile pepper

3/4 csweetened, dried cranberries
How To Make i'm a little nutty and spicy (chipotle nut mix)

1Preheat oven to 225 degrees F. Combine the first 3 ingredients in a medium bowl, stir with whisk. Stir in nuts. Combine sugar, salt, and Chipotle powder. Add to nut mixture; toss well to coat.

2Spread mixture in a single layer on parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake for 45 minutes; stirring every 20 minutes. Remove from oven; allow to cool completely. Stir in cranberries.
